Grá/Love is Edward Kennedy's first volume of poetry. Grá is the Irish word for love. What does love mean to you? This poetry book is a collection of love poems which meditate on the different kinds of love: romantic love, love of family, love of animals, love of God. These 48 poems remind you that the most important thing in life is to love one another, to love God, and to appreciate the gift of love and the gift of life itself. The poems teach you to live in the present moment, and they remind you that letting go is one of the greatest acts of love.
Author's Personal Note:
Grá/Love was my first volume of poetry and I was looking for another outlet for creative expression after producing my brother Robert Kennedy's film Midnight Man. The poems are about all the different forms of love. It was written and designed very simply and the cover page is a drawing I did myself.
